We have been researching and developing ways to create more complicated shapes, more diverse materials, and larger sizes. We produce complex precision forgings which are made possible only by the experience cultivated through our long history and the incomparable techniques of our skilled workers.
ISS Yamazaki’s forgings are 820 mm (33 in) in maximum outer diameter and 1400 mm (55 in) in maximum length. The weight is approximately 1 to 1,000 kg (2.2 lb to 2204 lb). These are made possible by an extensive lineup of equipment, including 10 air stamp hammer lines ranging from 1 to 8 t (2000 to 18000 lb). Please contact us for products beyond these sizes.
ISS Yamazaki’s expertise makes it possible to die-forge special materials such as titanium alloys with air stamp hammers. We address special materials that we have yet to handle and also make suggestions for materials.
We mold with dies as close as possible to the final shape.
Manufacturing even for a single piece is possible with a forging method suitable for molding ring shapes without dies. Ring forgings with outside diameters from 250 to 2700 mm can be manufactured.
Manufacture even for a single piece is possible without dies. This production method is also employed to produce prototypes at ISS Yamazaki.
ISS Yamazaki Machinery’s proprietary technology enables hollow shapes which are difficult to form by forging. The drilling process for hollows that was previously done by machining can now be done by forging, which greatly reduces machining time.
In general, draft angles are required for die forgings to be removed from the die. We can reduce the draft angle to extremely minimum levels with our special equipment and technical capabilities. This leads to the reduction of material costs and machining allowance.
Our integrated production from design to manufacturing of forgings and dies, is carried out in-house.
Minimizing outsourced work from receiving orders to delivering products makes our quick and smooth service possible.
Please contact us even for parts that you have given up on due to small-lot requirements.
